ReelAnime 2010, an Australian anime film festival, will screen Evangelion: 2.0 You Can [Not] Advance, Summer Wars, King of Thorn, and Redline this September. Also, the festival will host limited screenings of Evangelion: 1.0 You Are [Not] Alone.
Evangelion: 2.0 is the second film in Hideaki Anno and Khara's four-part theatrical remake of Gainax's Neon Genesis Evangelion anime series. It reveals more of the war between NERV and the Angels while also focusing on the lives of the teenagers who pilot the mysterious Evangelion series. The film introduces a new character who joins the pilots.
Redline follows JP, a daredevil driver with his customized vehicle named "Trans Am." He enlists in a deadly tournament held once every five years where the deadliest racers compete and many people plan to play the game for their own ends.
